Bio

Jon Shard is an award-winning photographer renowned for his distinctive visual style across advertising, sport and portraiture. Based in the UK and working internationally, his work spans international campaigns for high-profile clients including Vodafone, Sony, Manchester United, Pepsi, Johnnie Walker, Hugo Boss and Morgan Stanley.

Throughout his career, Jon has photographed some of the world’s most celebrated sporting figures, including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Oscar Piastri and Tyson Fury.

His creative vision and expertise in lighting have made him a sought-after photographer for major advertising campaigns and large-scale productions.

Working across commercial photography, portraiture and personal projects, Jon has several portraits in the permanent collection of London’s National Portrait Gallery, including those of Keeley Hawes, Guy Garvey and Wayne Rooney.

Jon’s iconic photographs of Manchester’s legendary Hacienda nightclub are currently on display at Tate Britain as part of The 90s: Art and Fashion, curated by Edward Enninful.
